These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website at afterlifecarbon.com and any transactions you enter into with Envirow Ltd (company number 15137149), trading as Afterlife Carbon, of 1 Glenside Garden, Salisbury, SP1 2RF ("we", "us", "our").

Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or placing an order. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About us

Envirow Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 15137149. Our registered office is at 1 Glenside Garden, Salisbury, SP1 2RF. We trade as Afterlife Carbon and supply recycled carbon fibre products.

2. Use of our website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

  • Use the website in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations.
  • Use the website to transmit unsolicited or unauthorised advertising material.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its related systems.
  • Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the website.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our website at any time without notice.

3. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, logos, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

4. Orders, deposits and payment

4.1 The two ways to order

A Founder's Edition pair is paid for in full at the time you order. An Open Edition pair is reserved with a deposit of £77 per pair, with the balance payable on the production date.

Placing an order and paying in full, or paying a deposit, forms a contract between you and us for the supply of the pair you selected.

A Founder's Edition pair is personalised to you. Your name and your Founder Number are etched into the foldable cork case supplied with the glasses, and printed inside the arm of the glasses themselves. We will ask you for the name you want used, and confirm it with you before production begins.

4.2 Production and delivery

Our products are made to order in production runs. We are working to a dispatch target of 1 June 2027, and we will keep you informed of any change to it. If we cannot meet a dispatch date we have given you, you may cancel and receive a full refund of everything you have paid.

We currently deliver to United Kingdom addresses only, and the prices shown include UK delivery.

4.3 Payment processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. By making a payment, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your payment card details.

4.4 Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your order at any time before dispatch and receive a full refund of everything you have paid, including any deposit. To cancel, email us at hello@afterlifecarbon.com.

You also have a statutory right to cancel within fourteen days of receiving your order, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Where that right applies we will refund you in full within fourteen days of the goods being returned to us.

If we are unable to produce your pair, we will refund everything you have paid.

4.5 The balance on an Open Edition order

When your order includes one or more Open Edition pairs you agree, by ticking the box at checkout, that we may store the card you paid the deposit with and charge the outstanding balance to it automatically on the production date, without you being present.

The balance on each pair is the difference between the £77 deposit and the total price of that pair: £143 for NXT lenses, or £173 for Platinum Glass lenses. Where you order more than one pair, the balances are collected together as a single payment.

The production date will not be before 1 March 2027. We will email you the exact date, the amount, and the last four digits of the card at least ten days before we charge it.

You may cancel at any time before the balance is charged and we will refund your deposit in full. You may replace the stored card at any time by contacting us. If the charge fails, Stripe will email you a secure link to pay by another method; if we cannot collect the balance within ten days of the charge date we will cancel the order and refund your deposit.

5. Newsletter

By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receiving marketing communications from us by email. You may unsubscribe at any time. We will not share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We exclude all implied warranties, representations, and conditions relating to our website and its content.
  • We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the website.
  • Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount you have paid for that order.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over third-party sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

8. Privacy

Your use of our website and any personal data you provide is governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Your continued use of our website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
